Dr Ian Newton is a Senior Entomologist with the Horticultural & Forestry Science team. He has over 20 years experience as an applied entomologist working in fruit, nut and field crop protection, across a broad range of commodities and pests. Ian’s research work has included: biological, chemical and cultural control and developing IPM systems in tree crops; with specialisation in insect pathology and pheromone trap development. He is using his expertise with a number of mango projects.
